The Network

Four initiatives.
One shared foundation.

FinKore Network is the community around FinKore, connecting engineers, financial experts, startups, and organizations to strengthen the foundations of financial software. It brings people together to exchange knowledge, challenge specifications, investigate difficult scenarios, and contribute findings from real projects. Through these shared efforts, practical experience can become clearer financial requirements, stronger conformance cases, and knowledge that other teams can build on.

Whether you want to learn, compete, contribute, or build something of your own, there is a place for you in the FinKore Network.

All four initiatives support the FinKore ecosystem and its long-term mission.

Discussion & interest

FinKore Club

Learn. Connect. Share.

Great ideas emerge when experienced people exchange different perspectives.

FinKore Club brings together developers, architects, financial specialists, and technology enthusiasts to discuss the engineering challenges behind modern financial systems.

Activities we want to bring together

  • Technical talks and expert sessions
  • Workshops and practical demonstrations
  • Networking and knowledge exchange
  • Community discussions and engineering debates
  • Conversations about real financial system challenges

You don't need to write code to make a valuable contribution. Sometimes, the right question changes everything.

Join the Club

Start with a GitHub discussion: introduce your interests or suggest a session. This is an interest and discussion entry point; Club activities are being shaped.

In preparation

FinKore Contests

Challenge. Solve. Advance.

Some of the most important financial software problems only become visible when assumptions are tested.

FinKore Contests turns those challenges into opportunities for engineers to demonstrate their expertise, explore difficult scenarios, and help improve the shared foundation.

What the initiative is intended to include

  • Financial engineering challenges
  • Conformance and edge-case investigations
  • Architecture and specification challenges
  • Recognition for outstanding contributions
  • Prizes for selected contests, subject to published rules and available resources

Bring your skills. Question the assumptions. Discover what others might have missed.

Explore Contests

No contest is open yet. Express interest or propose a challenge in GitHub Discussions. Any future contest will need published rules, dates, and prize terms before opening.

Open to contributions

FinKore Contributors

Question. Improve. Build.

FinKore is shaped by people who understand that financial behavior must be precise, testable, and open to review.

Contributors help transform real engineering experience into better specifications, stronger conformance cases, clearer documentation, and more reliable technical foundations.

Ways to contribute

  • Review and improve specifications
  • Identify ambiguous or missing financial behavior
  • Propose new conformance scenarios
  • Improve documentation and technical tooling
  • Participate in architectural and domain discussions

You don't need to contribute a thousand lines of code. One well-documented financial scenario can improve an entire specification.

Proposed grant initiative

FinKore Angel

Support ideas. Enable progress.

Financial innovation requires more than good ideas. It requires time, technical expertise, experimentation, and the resources to turn concepts into reliable systems.

FinKore Angel is a proposed grant initiative designed to support selected fintech projects that explore, validate, integrate, or extend the FinKore foundation.

The goal is to make valuable technical work possible while producing knowledge that can benefit the wider FinKore ecosystem. The intended support is selective and primarily through grants.

Potentially supported work

  • Evaluating FinKore in real financial products
  • Developing documented integrations
  • Testing new financial scenarios
  • Creating reusable technical examples
  • Investigating specification gaps and limitations
  • Producing publicly shareable engineering findings

We believe valuable engineering deserves support, even when its most important outcome is discovering what needs to improve.

FinKore Angel

Backing the work.
Not buying the outcome.

In development

No funding is currently available. A future program depends on funding partners, available resources, and published program terms.

FinKore Angel is an initiative being developed to explore financial support for selected fintech projects working with the FinKore foundation.

We are exploring collaboration with investment funds and potential funding partners to make a future grants program possible.

Our intended model is based on grants, not payment for favorable technical conclusions.

Selected projects would be expected to define meaningful technical objectives, document their work, and share appropriate findings with the community.

An unsuccessful integration, an unexpected limitation, or a newly discovered specification gap may provide as much value as a successful implementation.

01 / Relevance

Selective support

Funding would be considered individually, based on technical relevance, feasibility, and expected value to the FinKore ecosystem.

02 / Independence

Independent results

Financial support must never require a favorable evaluation or recommendation of FinKore.

03 / Shared knowledge

Documented learning

Supported projects would document their objectives, methods, results, and limitations, and share appropriate engineering findings with the community, including findings that challenge FinKore.

Help shape the initiative.

Discuss a technically relevant project or express interest as a potential funding partner. This is an exploratory conversation, not a grant application or funding commitment.
